AIMS International Malta is thrilled to be working with our client operating as a public Entity. To strengthen operations, they are seeking to add a Senior Manager to their organization.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee section operations and workstreams, improve efficiency, and make unilateral decisions when needed.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with Unit objectives to ensure operational excellence.
  • Supervise managers of Payroll and Finance, HR, Logistics, Administration & Procurement, and Communications & PR, ensuring effective leadership and goal achievement.
  • Work with the Finance Manager on financial planning, budget management, and reporting to support organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager on talent acquisition, employee development, retention strategies, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure seamless Logistics, Administration, and Procurement operations, optimal office management, and effective support systems.
  • Guide the Communications and PR Manager in enhancing the Unit's public image, internal communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with sub-section managers to coordinate workflow, resources, and planning for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor team performance, identify improvement areas, and ensure satisfactory work quality.
  • Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of section policies, procedures, and measures.
  • Plan section operations and goals to meet priorities, targets, and deliverables.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and one-to-one meetings as needed.
  • Provide guidance, support, leadership, and direction to sub-section managers to help them achieve their targets.
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent qualification at MQF Level 6 or higher in Business Administration, Procurement, Management, Accounts, Finance, Public Policy, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least seven (7) years of relevant work experience, including three (3) years in a managerial role.
  • Proven managerial competence, efficiency, and diligence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Exceptional analytical and report writing skills.
