Our client a reputable insurance company is looking for a Non-Motor Claims Handler to efficiently and professionally handle of non-motor claims from FNOL through to final settlement, ensuring adherence to policy terms and corporate claims procedures. This role primarily involves processing claims related to Household and Private Marine, ensuring a proactive and customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities :
  • Register and assess new claims in accordance with policy coverage. 
  • Manage claims related to Household and Private Marine lines. 
  • Maintain accurate and thorough claims documentation and records. 
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with brokers, clients, and external stakeholders. 
  • Investigate and assess potential fraudulent claims. 
  • Facilitate prompt and accurate processing of claim payments within delegated authority limits. 
  • Conduct proactive claims reviews to ensure efficient case management. 
  • Support ongoing claims process improvements and optimization initiatives. 
  • Assist team members by handling delegated tasks as required. 
  • Evaluate claims within the framework of policy terms and company guidelines. 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in handling insurance.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in claims handling. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office systems required.
  • Excellent customer service and professional communication skills. 
  • Effective multitasking ability, ensuring the efficient management of multiple claims. 
  • Strong team collaboration skills with a proactive problem-solving approach. 
  • Good understanding of cost control measures and adherence to delegated settlement authorities.
