Responsibilities :
- Register and assess new claims in accordance with policy coverage.
- Manage claims related to Household and Private Marine lines.
- Maintain accurate and thorough claims documentation and records.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with brokers, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Investigate and assess potential fraudulent claims.
- Facilitate prompt and accurate processing of claim payments within delegated authority limits.
- Conduct proactive claims reviews to ensure efficient case management.
- Support ongoing claims process improvements and optimization initiatives.
- Assist team members by handling delegated tasks as required.
- Evaluate claims within the framework of policy terms and company guidelines.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in handling insurance.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in claims handling.
- Proficiency in MS Office systems required.
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.
- Effective multitasking ability, ensuring the efficient management of multiple claims.
- Strong team collaboration skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Good understanding of cost control measures and adherence to delegated settlement authorities.
