AIMS International is assisting one of our clients, a Corporate Services Provider (CSP), in recruiting a Marketing Officer.
We are seeking a driven and creative Marketing Officer who can contribute to our client's strategic marketing direction, helping to strengthen their presence both locally and internationally. The ideal candidate will be part of a motivated marketing team, report to the Marketing Manager, and work closely with the business development team and outsourced marketing professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all relevant social media accounts and ensure our client's audience is kept engaged with content in line with our client's brand and identity.
- Write creative copy and press releases for use in our client's promotional and branding initiatives.
- Upload new content to the website and create new pages where required while respecting best practices.
- Collaborate with professionals responsible for content writing, graphic design, SEO, Web development and business development in order to obtain the required results.
- Assist in the creation of email newsletters, management of the respective campaigns and subscribers’ lists.
- Be able to measure and analyze key metrics to establish the efficacy of digital marketing initiatives.
- Assist the team with the provision of branded working documents and printed marketing collateral.
- Liaise with publishers for submission of articles both offline and online.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients, our client's offerings, competitors and industries to execute the marketing strategy and drive business growth.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar marketing role.
- Qualification in Marketing or other industry-related certification;
- High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, plan ahead, multi-task, and honour deadlines.
- An outstanding level of both spoken and written English, able to write social media content and PRs while adapting such content to different communication platforms and audiences.
- Strong practical knowledge of social media channels and related analytics.
- Knowledge of WordPress or any similar CMS.
- Be data savvy, able to analyze, generate reports, and offer recommendations to management.
- Knowledge of Email Marketing software such as Mailchimp.
- An understanding of SEO best practices is considered an asset;
- Proficiency in using online design platforms (e.g. Canva).
- Fluent in Microsoft office (word/excel/PPT).
- The ability to work independently and take accountability for projects.
- Self-driven with a hands-on approach and a can-do mentality.
