Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all internal HR functions across the organization
- Collaborate with department heads to assess and fulfill recruitment needs
- Lead the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to selection
- Facilitate smooth onboarding experiences and deliver induction sessions for new employees
- Manage daily HR administration, including employment contracts and personnel records
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related queries and employee concerns
- Develop, implement, and regularly update HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate team-building events and employee engagement initiatives
- Process and manage internal payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Administer and track leave entitlements, including vacation and sick leave
- Draft and manage employment-related documentation as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar HR role in Malta is essential
- An HR or Payroll qualification is considered a strong asset
- Excellent written and spoken English is required due to the nature of the role
- Solid understanding of Maltese employment law
- Strong sense of responsibility with outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Punctual, proactive, and capable of working both independently and within a team
