Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of complex, multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions from start to finish.
- Lead cross-border M&A and corporate restructuring projects, overseeing all stages from due diligence through to execution.
- Draft and negotiate high-value transactional documentation, including share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and restructuring instruments.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and ad hoc internal training to junior lawyers, fostering talent and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with global corporate clients, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
- Collaborate with partners on strategic business development and client engagement initiatives.
- Manage and lead legal due diligence exercises across various industries.
- Stay up to date with developments in local and international corporate law to ensure a cutting-edge legal approach.
Requirements:
- A warranted lawyer with a minimum of 6 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law, ideally with a strong focus on M&A.
- Proven experience in leading cross-border transactions and managing high-value corporate deals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams and mentor junior professionals.
- Commercially minded, highly organised, and client-focused.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
