AIMS International Malta is thrilled to be working with a leading Accounting and Audit Firm to help with their search for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Accounts Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain, update, and review general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and verify the integrity of financial data.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Coordinate and supervise the preparation of comprehensive financial statements.
- Liaise with tax and audit teams, providing essential financial information and support for assigned clients.
Requirements:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or an ACCA qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command in English language.
