AIMS International Malta is assisting one of its clients, a well-established CSP in Malta, with the recruitment of a Lead Associate – Compliance and Risk.
The Lead Associate - Compliance and Risk will be responsible for the maintaining of the necessary policies, procedures, and ancillary documents, implementing the necessary measures to ensure adequate compliance and risk management, aiding customers in implementing a robust compliance and risk management culture, raising awareness and provide training on such topics.
Responsibilities:

Drafting, updating, and reviewing of policies, procedures, and other relevant documents.

Drafting, updating, and implementing of the compliance monitoring programme.

Assisting with the implementation of the risk management process.

Drafting and reviewing of regulatory reports as well as reports to senior management.

Testing of tools to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and that adequately manage risks.

Assisting with internal and external audits.
-
Assisting in the implementation of the ESG framework.
-
Generating awareness material on relevant compliance and risk management topics.

Provision of training in relation to compliance and risk management topics.
-
Assisting the counter financial crime team as necessary.

Undertaking client projects in relation to compliance and risk management aspects.
Requirements:

An undergraduate university degree (or equivalent) in law, financial services, criminology,

compliance, risk management or a related field.

Professional certification such as ACAMS, ICA, ICBF, or in GDPR would be an asset.

At least 1 year of experience in the same field.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and a strong command of both written and oral English.

Knowledge in using MS Office applications.

A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.

A strong team player yet able to work independently when necessary.
