Responsibilities
- Setting up and registering Maltese companies, trusts and foundations
 - Day-to-day administration of Maltese companies, trusts and foundations
 - Being responsible for a portfolio of clients and keeping the portfolio in good standing and compliant with Maltese laws
 - Liaising with regulated entities and authorities (including MBR, MFSA and MTCA), other service providers (including law firms, auditors, banks) and the company’s own internal departments.
 - Attending client entities’ board meetings and circulating of agendas, proxy forms and taking of minutes
 - Drafting of contracts on various areas including Maltese company law and employment law, or as otherwise required in accordance with the needs of clients
 - Keeping abreast with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to Maltese company law and AML obligations.
 - Conducting legal research on various points of law
 - Drafting of internal policies as the exigencies of the Company may from time-to-time demand
 - Assisting with any AML-related matters as needed
 
Requirements
- In possession of a Bachelor’s degree in law
 - At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience, preferably with a corporate service provider or a law firm.
 - Proficiency in written and spoken English.
 - Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
