Our client, a corporate service provider, is looking for a highly diligent Compliance Officer/MLRO to join their team, on a part-time basis.

- Act as the firm’s designated Compliance Officer and MLRO.
- Ensure adherence to MFSA CSP Rulebook, PMLA and FIAU requirements.
- Maintain and update the Compliance & AML/CFT Manual and firm-wide Risk Assessment.
- Oversee client onboarding (CDD/EDD), ongoing monitoring and high-risk file reviews.
- Conduct periodic AML file reviews and internal compliance monitoring.
- Investigate and report suspicious transactions (STRs) where required.
- Act as liaison with MFSA and FIAU, including handling regulatory queries and inspections.
- Prepare Board Compliance/MLRO reports and regulatory submissions.
- Provide internal AML guidance and training to staff.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a compliance/AML role within a CSP or regulated entity.
- Strong working knowledge of MFSA CSP Rulebook, PMLA and FIAU Implementing Procedures.
- Experience dealing directly with MFSA or FIAU correspondence.
- Relevant qualification in Compliance, AML, Law, Finance or Risk.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
