We're currently engaged with a prominent Corporate Services Provider in Malta for the recruitment of a Client Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Keeping accurate accounting records for a small group of clients.
Creating yearly financial statements and coordinating with auditors.
Preparation of management accounts and other financial reports as required.
Preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis.
Compiling quarterly VAT returns.
Preparation of tax and other statutory returns.
Requirements:
Possession of a degree in Accounting, ACCA certification, or in the final stages of completing ACCA.
Previous experience in dealing with indirect taxation matters such as VAT.
Strong abilities in client service and communication.
Prior experience in a corporate service setting is seen as advantageous.
