Our client a reputable insurance company is looking for an Application Support Analyst to join their team. This role involves hands-on application support, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement across business and technical processes.
Responsibilities:

Provide Level 1 & 2 application support, collaborating with Development, QA, Release Management, and Business teams.

Monitor and troubleshoot applications, servers, databases, and scheduled jobs; analyze logs and performance metrics.

Install, validate, and maintain application releases and patches, especially for core COTS applications.

Gather user requirements, recommend changes, and maintain documentation for requirements, testing, and development.

Consult internally to improve business and technical processes using quality and efficiency tools.

Ensure timely delivery of tasks while coordinating with business stakeholders.

Stay current with industry and technical trends.

Manage tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and TeamCity, and configure EDI systems.

Provide technical support for Malta operations and maintain/enhance core business applications.

Promote transparency, collaboration, and teamwork.
Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Sprint) and ability to thrive in iterative delivery models.
