Responsibilities:
- Maintain a close relationship with the Head of Vessel Accounting, providing updates and solutions.
- Oversee a professional team and address requests promptly.
- Communicate with local and international colleagues on various issues.
- Manage the audit process and meet with auditors.
- Ensure the team meets deadlines for reporting, audits, and VAT.
- Prepare monthly forecasts.
- Ensure statutory financial statements comply with IFRS.
- Review results and maintain communication with the Head Office.
- Hire team members and conduct performance appraisals.
Requirements:
- Eagerness to tackle challenges and enhance internal systems.
- Hotel industry experience preferred (but not required).
- Accounting familiarity across various jurisdictions is advantageous.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in IFRS and international VAT.
- Willingness to travel at least twice yearly.
