Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and approve a wide range of legal agreements and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide general legal advice and support across multiple practice areas, including corporate, commercial, employment, and intellectual property law.
- Conduct legal research on complex and evolving legal issues and consolidate findings into clear, practical legal opinions for clients.
- Advise clients on a variety of legal matters and support contractual negotiations.
- Lead and contribute to cross-departmental projects, advising management on legal and regulatory matters as they arise.
- Supervise, review, and support the work of junior lawyers, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate closely with other service lines within the firm to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified lawyer with a valid warrant to practise under Maltese law.
- 4–5 years’ experience in a similar legal role, preferably within a professional services or advisory environment.
- Strong technical legal skills with the ability to apply sound judgement in complex situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
