Responsibilities:
- Carry out accounting assignments and related tasks as required, providing both off-site and on-site support to clients.
- Maintain accounting ledgers and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare inter-company debt notes and manage the settlement of current accounts.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with applicable regulations and deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end accounts.
- Prepare tax computations and supporting documentation.
- Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and balance sheet checklists.
- Post and review accounting entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with auditor queries and provide supporting documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified with a University degree in Accounting or equivalent, or in the final stages of obtaining the ACCA qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Full fluency in English is essential.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is considered an asset.
