Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking to recruit a Business Development & Strategic Partnership Manager - Immigration & Relocation to join their team and support the continued growth of the Immigration & Relocation practice.

This is a revenue-generating role with clear accountability for originating new business, expanding international networks and driving sustainable growth through direct sales efforts. The position reports to the Senior Manager – Immigration & Relocation and operates at a senior level with measurable commercial targets.  

The successful candidate will take ownership of business development activity, actively promote Malta relocation solutions and expand the firm’s intermediary network across Malta, Europe and the Caribbean.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for originating and generating new outbound business opportunities within the scope, parameters and delegated authority levels established by the Senior Manager;  

  • Develop and implement structured outbound business development initiatives aligned with revenue targets, market expansion priorities and jurisdictional focus areas as determined by the team;  

  • Promote and position Malta residence and relocation programmes, as well as selected European and Caribbean relocation and investment migration programmes, as approved and prioritized;  

  • Focus exclusively on business generated through direct outreach, intermediary development, travel, networking, and relationship management initiatives, and not assume ownership of leads generated through the Company’s existing marketing channels or current inbound business development operations unless expressly assigned;  

  • Identify, approach and cultivate new intermediary partners, referral networks and strategic relationships across Malta, Europe and the Caribbean, in line with defined expansion objectives;  

  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline of intermediary relationships designed to generate recurring referral-based revenue streams;  

  • Lead commercial discussions from initial engagement through negotiation and proposed closure of opportunities sourced through direct outreach, subject to review and approval within delegated authority levels;  

  • Identify and negotiate proposed partnership arrangements, fee structures and referral terms, subject to review and approval by the Senior Manager and management where required;  

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant immigration and relocation programmes and remain informed of regulatory and legislative developments impacting promoted jurisdictions; 

  • Maintain awareness of competing relocation and investment migration programmes to support effective commercial positioning and intermediary discussions;  

  • Conduct structured market analysis to identify new intermediary markets, client segments and revenue opportunities, and present findings and recommendations to the Senior Manager for consideration;  

  • Propose new commercial initiatives, jurisdictional opportunities or service enhancements for review by the Senior Manager to support diversification and long-term strategic growth;  

  • Maintain accurate and organised records of intermediary relationships, commercial discussions and partnership documentation in accordance with internal procedures;  

  • Travel internationally as required to support approved business development and relationship management initiatives;  

  • Contribute to the long-term commercial growth and international positioning of the Immigration & Relocation practice under the leadership of the Senior Manager.  


Requirements:

  • Proven track record in business development and sales, ideally within professional services, immigration, financial services or international markets; 

  • Demonstrated experience in achieving revenue targets through direct sales efforts; 

  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to originate, negotiate and close opportunities;  

  • Experience dealing with cross-border clients and international intermediaries;  

  • Confident networker with strong negotiation and presentation skills; 

  • Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable operating with measurable performance expectations;  

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required;  

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market intelligence into commercial action.
