AIMS International Malta is assisting an international insurance company, looking to hire an Actuary to join their local team.
Responsibilities:
- Computation of reserve levels, capital requirements, and dividend amounts.
- Preparing regular reporting packages and Pillar II reports.
- Contribute to the Risk Management Policy and produce the frame of reference to measure the risk.
- Provide all actuarial Inputs/assumptions and Cash-Flow projections allowing provision calculations for the monthly closure under IFRS17.
- Development of the actuarial, statistical, and data tools (methods, models).
- Create the technical portfolio monitoring for the regular monitoring of technical & risk drivers.
- Define and lead the pricing studies of insurance programs.
Requirements:
- Master's degree, including a diploma in actuarial science,
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an actuary in the insurance field.
- Advanced skills in “R”/”R-Studio”, “Python”, or “VBA”.
