Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking to recruit a Technology Risk & IT Assurance Consultant to join its advisory team.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support IT audits and technology assurance engagements, including IT general controls, SOC/ISAE reports, and regulatory audits.
  • Plan and deliver audit and advisory assignments, including managing workstreams and contributing to overall engagement delivery.
  • Assess IT systems, controls, and business processes in terms of efficiency, risk, and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate data protection, cybersecurity, and technology risk frameworks, providing practical and actionable recommendations.
  • Support and, where appropriate, manage client relationships to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, proposals, and thought leadership activities.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and industry practices.
  • Support internal quality, knowledge-sharing, and team development initiatives.


Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, IT advisory, or a related field within professional services or industry.
  • Experience in IT audits, internal controls, compliance testing, and/or regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, cybersecurity frameworks).
  • Proven ability to manage components of engagements and work with clients in a professional environment.
  • A degree in business computing, information systems, information security, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or CIPP/E (obtained or in progress) would be considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to work.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive and client-focused mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
