Our client, a renowed CSP, is looking for a Private Client & Residency Junior Administrator to join their growing team. 

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit Income Tax Returns for individual clients.
  • Prepare and file Quarterly and Annual VAT Returns in line with statutory deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit VAT Recapitulative Statements (VAT Re-Caps).
  • Handle the preparation and submission of Eco-Tax contributions.
  • Prepare and submit TA22 and TA24 forms as required.
  • Compile Profit & Loss statements for self-employed individuals.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process bank payments, including CFR payments, VAT Department payments, and payments to individuals.
  • Liaise with various government authorities, including the Office of the Commissioner for Revenue, Identity Malta, Transport Malta, and Social Security Services.
  • Manage VAT registration for self-employed individuals.
  • Handle individual tax registrations and ensure timely compliance.
  • Process self-employed Social Security registrations.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing assistance and addressing any administrative or compliance needs.
  • Assist with EU Residence applications and Non-EU Work Permit applications, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in corporate services, or private client administration.
  • Understanding of the tax system for individuals
  • Understanding of the Local VAT system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Maltese is considered an asset.
  • High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously and work under time-sensitive conditions to meet required deadlines.
  • Professional, clear communication skills and client-centric attitude with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
