Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise mechanical repair, maintenance, and installation activities.
- Lead teams of mechanics, fitters, and specialized technicians.
- Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and milestones.
- Supervise maintenance, overhaul, repair, and replacement of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate activities involving engines, pumps, compressors, valves, auxiliary systems, and other shipboard machinery.
- Ensure compliance with technical procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements.
- Support planning and execution of dry-docking and refit activities.
- Coordinate with clients, surveyors, classification societies, and project teams when required.
- Manage tools, equipment, and workforce assigned to mechanical operations.
- Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in marine mechanical maintenance and ship repair.
- Previous supervisory experience in shipyard or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of marine machinery and shipboard mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical documentation.
- Experience with ship repair, refit, and dry-docking projects.
- Knowledge of shipyard safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under deadlines.
