Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking to recruit a Junior Content & Social Media Specialist to join its Brand & Marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and proofread engaging written and visual content for social media, newsletters, articles, and marketing campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
  • Develop short-form digital content and support the creation of simple video assets where required.
  • Support the development of content that communicates business updates in a clear, engaging, and audience-focused manner.
  • Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, and overall content quality across all communication channels.
  • Assist in the creation of visual content through basic photography, videography, and video editing where required.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Support the implementation of social media initiatives aimed at increasing brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • Monitor social media activity and audience interaction, providing insights to help improve content performance.
  • Assist with keyword research and support SEO activities to enhance website visibility and organic traffic growth.
  • Maintain and update website content using a content management system (CMS), ensuring all information is accurate and aligned with brand standards.
  • Work closely with the Brand & Marketing Manager and support the Content & Social Media Specialist in delivering marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist with coordinating marketing activities, including timelines, content delivery, and approvals across teams.
  • Support broader marketing operations such as email communications, event promotion, and campaign coordination.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field would be preferred.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in marketing, communications, social media, content creation, or a related area (including internships or academic projects).
  • Excellent written communication skills in English with strong attention to detail.
  • A creative mindset with a strong interest in storytelling, content creation, and brand development.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar would be considered an asset.
  • Basic photography, videography, and/or video editing skills would be considered an asset.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn and develop professionally.
