 AIMS International Malta is assisting one of our clients who operates within the Financial Services Industry with finding an Immigration Executive to strengthen their department. 

Responsibilities

  • Advising private clients on Malta’s residency and citizenship programmes, investment migration pathways, due diligence requirements, and relocation matters.
  • Managing applications for residence permits, work permits, visas, citizenship, and other immigration-related matters.
  • Maintaining proactive and ongoing communication with clients, keeping them informed of application progress and any relevant regulatory developments.
  • Supporting clients in the preparation of appeal submissions and responses to inquiries from immigration authorities.
  • Liaising directly with local immigration and tax authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Handling the registration of documents at the Malta Public Registry, CFR, Identità, and other relevant government departments.
  • Providing guidance on the conditions and procedural steps required for obtaining various types of licences in Malta.
  • Staying current with changes in local and international immigration legislation and advising clients accordingly.
  • Assisting in the delivery of internal training sessions on immigration law updates for colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the firm’s content creation efforts, including articles, publications, and regulatory updates on immigration matters.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the firm to deliver holistic and integrated legal services to clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience in immigration law in Malta, with demonstrable exposure to residency permits and residency/citizenship programmes; prior experience across multiple programmes is highly desirable.
  • A degree in Law or a related field would be considered an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of, and genuine interest in, Maltese and international immigration law.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltese.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple matters independently and efficiently.
