Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop the health, safety and environmental strategies of the company;
- Organize and coordinate all training in safety and environmental aspects;
- Ensure suitable protective equipment is given to workers and that such policy is being maintained and followed;
- Carry out adequate risk assessments as and when required;
- Keep up to date with new legislation and health, safety, and environmental standards;
- Maintain and update the plans and procedures for emergency response;
- Carry out necessary controls of safety procedures in all departments;
- Monitoring operations and ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
Requirements:
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety;
- At least 2 years of experience in related field;
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety;
- Fluent spoken and written English, Italian would be an asset;
- Great attention to detail.
