Our client, within the maritime industry, is looking for an HR Administration Officer to support the HR Generalist with daily administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and management of employment contracts, extensions, amendments, and terminations  Drafting of employment letters and mandatory documentation
  • Management of obligations required under the Employment and Industrial Relations Act (EIRA) 
  • Registrations and communications with Jobsplus
  • Management of documentation for EU and non-EU workers (Single Work Permit, immigration compliance) Administrative payroll support (FSS, Social Security Contributions, income tax)
  • Updating HR records and document filing in compliance with GDPR 
  • Verification of subcontractors’ administrative documentation 
  • Support in the event of audits or inspections

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Economics, Law, or related fields 
  • 2–4 years of experience in personnel administration, preferably in Malta
  • Knowledge of Maltese employment law 
  • Experience managing foreign workers 
  • Fluent knowledge of Italian and English (written and spoken) 
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office package 
  • Precision, confidentiality, and compliance-oriented mindset
