Our client, a well known Corporate Services Provider in Malta, is currently looking to recruit a Corporate Services Executive to join their team

Responsibilities:
  • Acting as the point of contact for a portfolio of clients and handling client general requests on an on-going basis.
  • Handling the registration and incorporation process of a new company.
  • Handling various corporate transactions and other changes in companies, including the drafting of documentation and liaising with the Registry for registration.
  • Handling the preparation and submission of annual returns and BO forms.
  • Liaising with Tax and Customs and Banks to update the changes in companies.
  • Handling renewals of registrations as and when required.
  • Handling client billing and ensuring that all outstanding balances are settled.
  • Liaising with banks and financial institutions for the opening, maintenance and management of bank accounts.
  • Organising client board meetings, attending and recording meeting minutes as and when required.
  • Liaising with accountants to ensure that accounting, vat and tax records are maintained in terms of law.
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure that timely statutory audits are prepared and submitted to the relevant authorities.
  • Upkeep of corporate software, client database, files, company registers and other corporate good governance documentation.
Requirements:
  • Would ideally be in possession of a University Degree or a Diploma in a subject relating to business law, the law of business enterprises, banking or financial services.
  • A good understanding of the Companies Act, Trusts and Trustees Act and Civil Code, including statutory record-keeping, and the compliance obligations impacting the administration of companies, trusts and foundations.
  • A good understanding in client on-boarding procedures in terms of applicable compliance legislation and ongoing monitoring of banking transactions.
  • Enthusiastic disposition and willingness to learn.
  • Good governance oriented.
  • Proven organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to handle work and client pressures and work independently as part of a team.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role.
