Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking to recruit a Content & Social Media Specialist to join its Brand & Marketing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and proofread engaging written and visual content for social media, newsletters, articles, and marketing campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
  • Develop compelling short-form digital content and support the creation of simple video assets where required.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to translate business updates and technical information into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly content.
  • Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, and visual identity across all communication channels and marketing materials.
  • Support the creation of visual content through basic photography, videography, and video editing where required.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Implement and support the company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and online presence.
  • Monitor social media performance, audience engagement, and content effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  • Conduct keyword research and support SEO optimisation initiatives to improve website visibility and organic traffic.
  • Maintain and update website content through the company’s content management system (CMS), ensuring all information remains accurate and aligned with brand standards.
  • Coordinate marketing activities, timelines, and content approvals across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Support broader marketing operations, including campaign coordination, internal communications, newsletters, and email marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Brand & Marketing Manager to support wider marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives.


Requirements:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field would be considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience within marketing, communications, social media management, or content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong content writing and storytelling abilities with a creative mindset.
  • Experience managing social media platforms within a professional or corporate environment.
  • Basic photography, videography, and/or video editing skills would be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimisation techniques.
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools would be considered an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working effectively within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
