Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee day-to-day operations of the office, including administrative functions, financial operations and technology systems.
- Liaise with colleagues and external consultants to oversee the legal, fiscal, banking and compliance requirements of the organization.
- Co-execute and administer trades in listed securities on direction of the Investment Committee.
- Oversee financial planning, control, budgeting, forecasting and periodic filing of submissions and develop regular progress reports as necessary.
- Manage/oversee and maintain ongoing working relationships with local and international banks, financial and regulatory institutions and intermediaries.
- Establish and maintain robust risk management frameworks and monitor financial and fiscal regulatory developments and industry trends, proactively adapting policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Drive technological innovation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client experience and support portfolio management /reporting.
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounts or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior management role within the financial services industry, ideally in the field of equity investments, and/or proven experience in Family Office management, or in Wealth Management.
- Aptitude for Financial analysis and a sound understanding of equity markets, investment products, corporate governance rules and regulatory requirements.
- Whilst not pre-requisites, a working knowledge of French and/or Dutch would be an asset, as would experience with Bloomberg Trading Terminal.
- Qualities required: organized, multi-tasker with good analytical and management skills, an eye for detail, a head for financial analysis and a strong process-driven orientation. Sound judgement, exceptional integrity and discretion, transparency and a sound knowledge of industry best-practise.
