AIMS International Malta is assisting one of our clients, a well-established CSP in Malta, in recruiting a Business Process Solutions - Lead Associate (Client Accounting).

The Lead Associate will manage day to day client accounting requirements, including the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, recap declarations, and financial statements in line with IFRS and GAPSME. The selected candidate will also be responsible for preparing audit files, liaising directly with auditors, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all client requests

Responsibilities:

  • Client accounting services, liaising with clients, and handling various requests in a timely manner.

  • Preparation of management accounts.

  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns and recap declarations.

  • Preparation of financial statements in accordance with international finance reporting standards (IFRS) and general accounting principles for small and medium sized entities (GAPSME).

  • Preparation of accounting files for audit purposes.

  • Liaising with auditors


Requirements:

  • In the final stages of ACCA, or recently qualified.

  • Ideally two to three years of experience within a similar role.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficient in the use of standard office tools including Microsoft Excel.

  • Prioritize own work, work on own initiative, and meet deadlines.
