AIMS International Malta are thrilled to be working with a leading Corporate Service Provider to help with their search for an AML Executive to join their team.
The role will see the chosen candidate supporting the Head of Compliance and MLRO.
Responsibilities:
- Execute risk assessments regarding internal operations for the purpose of identifying the company's risk exposure.
- Manage and assist with setting up the internal AML, risk, and compliance procedures.
- Delivering compliance-related training internally.
- Assisting with the preparation of quarterly reports for the Board of Directors.
- Being the point of contact for other departments internally advising on their AML needs.
- Preparing reports for regulatory bodies and external authorities related to internal AML/CFT obligations.
- Handling client onboarding procedures.
- Carrying out ongoing monitoring of existing clients from an AML perspective and maintain and manage client portfolios.
- Tertiary level of education.
- 2 years minimum experience in a similar role (experience within a CSP environment is favorable).
- Knowledge and understanding of AML/CFT functions is a prerequisite.
- Fluency in the English language, written and spoken is a prerequisite.
